Trust & Estate Planning Signings
Trust signings, organized and unhurried
Estate planning packages often have many documents and signatures. We come to you, keep everything in order, and make sure every notarized page is completed correctly.
What we handle
Common documents
- Living trust documents and certifications of trust
- Deeds transferring property into a trust
- Powers of attorney and advance health care directives in the package
- Assignments and other notarized estate planning forms
How it works
Count the notarized signatures
Your attorney or estate planner can tell you which pages need a notary.
Book with the right number
Our estimate shows the travel fee and the notary fees for each signature.
We meet and notarize
Each signer appears with ID. Deeds affecting real property include a journal thumbprint.

Before you book
Have these ready
- Your attorney or estate planner has prepared the documents and told you which ones need notarization.
- Every signer is present with a current, government-issued photo ID.
- Pages that will be notarized are unsigned.
- If any document needs witnesses, tell us when you book so we can arrange them.
Good to know. We notarize signatures; we don't draft, review, or explain trust documents. Questions about what a document does, or which certificate to use, go to the attorney who prepared it.
Questions
Do you prepare trusts?
No. We're notaries, not attorneys. We notarize the documents your attorney or estate planner prepares.
Why do you take a thumbprint?
California requires the signer's thumbprint in the notary journal for deeds affecting real property and for powers of attorney.
How long does a trust signing take?
Usually 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how many documents and signers there are.
