Before you book
Have these ready
- Confirm with the agency or office receiving your document that it needs an apostille.
- Vital records must be certified copies issued by the county or state.
- Documents we notarize must be complete and unsigned, with each signer present and holding valid ID.
- Tell us the destination country when you book.
Good to know. Apostilles are issued by the California Secretary of State, not by notaries, and processing times can vary. We can't tell you which documents a foreign agency requires; please check with the agency or attorney receiving the document. Apostille fees aren't refundable once submitted to the Secretary of State.

How long does it take?
Standard orders are submitted within 5 business days, Rush within 2 business days, and VIP same-day on Wednesday to Friday. Secretary of State processing times can vary.
I have documents for several family members. Is that one order?
Yes, if one person is paying and everything returns to one address: $350 plus $95 for each additional document. Otherwise each person places their own order.
What does VIP same-day cost?
VIP is quoted before booking. Call or text us with the number of documents.
