You'll always see an itemized quote before you book. The notary fee is set by California law and is always listed separately from optional travel and service fees.
Price list
How California notary fees work: California sets the maximum fee a notary may charge for each notarized signature (Government Code §8211). We never exceed it. Travel, visit, and service fees are separate charges for coming to you, and they're always disclosed and agreed to before your appointment.

Examples: 1 document $350 · 2 documents $445 · 3 documents $540 · 3 documents with Rush $615. Only added if needed: notary fees ($15 per signature) when a document must be notarized first. You pay the first-document price (plus Rush, if chosen) when you book; additional documents and any notary fees are paid at your appointment. Ordering for several people? One order when one person pays and everything returns to one address; otherwise each person places their own order. Secretary of State processing times can vary.

Payment
You pay in two parts. When your booking is confirmed: only the agreed travel fee (or the flat visit, signing, or apostille fee). At your appointment: the notary fees for the signatures actually notarized, plus any add-ons. Notary fees are never charged in advance. We accept cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash with secure payment processing, and we never see or store your full card number. Cancellation & refund policy
